hero can only have max win of 50pct pot since 9 can only come once. in this scenario opponents guarenteed half pot regardless. but guess extra chance hero has at binking 1 outtter is reason. but understand now.
You don't win that much in reducing variance by running it multiple times with the equity being so low. You recoup like 2,3% of the pot by running the entire deck versus running it once and losing it.
I'd run it once to really hurt him when I do catch. I think the value of getting someone on tilt by one outering him is higher than reducing variance by a tiny little bit.
i never run it twice. if you are known to then people call you more with draws and attempts to pick off bluffs with hands that can improve.
much better to force them to play for their whole stack all the time.

why wouldn't you just keep running it twice and adjust to punish their -EV plays?
because you make more by having them fold those hands. as many are not plus ev for you after they get all in.
you make more money by having people scared of playing big pots with you in games with deep stakes. certainly so in omaha but still applies in holdem.
