Hi, so we have a $1/2 NLHE game with a Mississippi straddle, any $ any position

Every now and then we do round for round with PLO, the max raise preflop to open is $7, so what would we do as far as the straddle? I've never seen a Mississippi straddle in a PLO game, so would it be $5, $7, unlimited?

I'd say it should be a max of a pot raise (or whatever your room may use in lieu of a pot raise, e.g. for rounding purposes) but this is always going to be room dependent

Yes, typically the max straddle is 'pot'. We play 1-2-bring 5, so you can straddle for 10, 15 or 20 at our table. Sounds like that's where the $7 may be coming from if it's straight 1-2.

The definition of Mississippi can be different as well. I've heard a Button called MS, but I know it as a straddle from any position, not just the Button. GL

Unlimited. The maximum open is now straddle * 3 + 3.
