Playing PostFlop Faster/Better? Playing PostFlop Faster/Better?

01-02-2019 , 11:14 PM
Anyone have good articles or resources that is good to read? I play a good amount of tables and thus when you do that, you can't take that much time on a decision so many times i would play standard. I saw an ad from upswing article where they were selling some chart or something where it cost like 7 or 12 dollars where it makes you play postflop a lot easier or faster? Something along the lines of putting your hand strength after the flop in x amount of categories? Has anyone bought this and is it good?

I recalled it was something like it would put your hand strength in one of like 6 categories or something like that.

I can give you advice that will only take 1-3 seconds of your time to read.

Play less tables.

How is OP not banned? 2300+ posts and every one is a daft question while never attempting to assist another member in any way.

He should have one thread and only be allowed to post in there.

The truly sad thing is that he's had multiple accounts, all doing the same thing. Those have all been banned AFAIK, and I've left this account alone because he at least isn't trolling the forums or (I don't think) posting maliciously. And don't get me wrong, he bugs the hell out of me - pretty sure I'm the one who's banned most of his accounts. But because people seemed to be mostly tolerating him, I've let him be otherwise. Now, however, he's becoming a nuisance in a forum that I think it's important to try to keep nuisance-free, so it's time for action.

Hey Pauly. I'm pretty sure this is a waste of time - my suspicion is that you're on the autism spectrum, and just aren't able to understand the problem here, but I'll try one more time anyway.

This post of yours is a textbook example of the problem with most of your posts. Let's break it down a bit:

Yup, lots of people do. And guess what? They've posted about them before. Both here and, wait for it, in the Books and Publications forum. Shocking, right? So what you should have done before posting this question, is did some searching and read some of the many "what should I read" type threads you'd find in each forum. If you had follow-up questions for any of those threads, you could have asked there. Or if you had already read a number of other threads about this topic, but weren't able to find a resource specific enough, then you could have told us in this thread that you've done a search and found a lot of posts about books regarding topic A, but were hoping for something specific to A-1, and does anyone have any suggestions? Either one would be so much better than what you did here, which is asking yet another one of your "I can't be bothered to research anything myself before asking" questions.

I think zoomboom already gave you the best answer you could get here. It's not like there is some secret recipe that allows you to play more tables. You need to improve so that the decisions come easier - there are many ways to improve your game. Until you've improved enough, play less tables.

This is probably the most aggravating part of your post. You have some vague recollection about something you saw on an ad, but rather than researching anything to either find the answers yourself, or at the very least be able to ask an educated question like "has anyone used resource X", you just ask your vague question. I mean, it could be that there's a thread about this resource somewhere on our forums, but you'd have no way to search for it, because you don't even know what it is. Of course, you wouldn't search for it in the first place.

It took me maybe 15 seconds to find this resource on Upswing, BTW.

Anyway, I'll be giving you a 50 point infraction now, which is to act as your final warning. Harsh for this post alone, but of course this is sort of a lifetime achievement award. I can't see any reason we should put up with this nonsense any longer. You add nothing to our forums - just take, take, take. And you can't even be bothered to make the effort to help yourself at all - you expect everyone to spoon feed you. Enough.

Doing this publicly so that others will know to report your posts if you continue this - many people probably have given up reporting you, since we've let you slide for so long. I feel no guilt for making this public, as I've discussed this with you privately numerous times over the years, and you've made little to no effort to change.

Thank you Bobo.

I am closing this thread because:

The best answer has been given by zoomboom

and....

I don't want this thread to turn into a Dump-On-Pauly ****storm.
