You should be able to get at least $5 for your 1million play chips, but I guess $5 isnt much of a bankroll. I'd suggest making a deposit and grinding out the bonus at 2nl. Stars charges less rake than FTP at 2nl so rakeback doesnt really matter at this level. If you've had the patience to grind out so much playmoney you shouldnt have a problem winning at 2nl!

Thanks, most posters agree with you, although some do think it tighter since its for real cash.

FYP. But at any level, people still play a bit tighter.

Also, rakeback will be exactly the same significance at each level in terms of BB. Unless you are fairly high stakes, go with FTP if you can still get rakeback.

By the way: tons of people lose at 2NL, they just aren't the kind of people who post on these forums in most cases

They aren't doing away with it; you just need to have not signed up through some other site. If you already have deposited there then it will be harder. If you haven't deposited on FTP then yeah, just find an established rakeback site and sign up using their bonus code.

If you deposited already (but not through a different third party site) then you need to email full tilt and tell them you want to get this as a bonus. Stress that you will ONLY play on FTP if you get the bonus. Trust me, you want rakeback more than Stars VPP program at the micros.

Ahh this might be difficult actually as its hard to accumulate fpps at such a low level

if you go to www.thehendonmob.com you can sign up for rakeback via them. You then can still use a different bonus code when you make your deposit, so you can get rakeback and a deposit bonus.

True, nobody loses at 2NL, I mean that would be like crazy. Weird how everyone is winning, but whose money are they winning?

On a serious note. I think everyone really underestimates the amount of serious players there are online these days, even at the micros. At $2NL there are many players that use PT3 and post in these forums.

Wow, do I suck. I can't seem to fold top pair when I know I should. I had sets broken every time I had them (5 or so), and when I finally got AA the table folded around to me before I could even put in a raise like they knew what I had. [/whine]

Still, I was (mostly) getting the money in when I was ahead, but I also have some leaks to plug...
