Not sure where to post this but i assume this is probably the place.
So I saw this and it basically gives you a report card of how you played today, or this week or month or year or whatnot. They give you a grade on things your like vpip, 3bet percentage and all those things. I was shocked if they give you a grade like B for say 3bet sizing, they would put some advice like you should consider 3betting a bit less. And if you do very good on something... say your vpip is where it should be... they grade you A for very good.
Now when i look at all those things... there is no way all of the lessons are correct right? For example they say your 3bet% preferred range should be 4.5-6.49 percent. I mean to me that is pretty tight but close to average but still more to the tighter side. I seen lot of regs have a 3bet% of much higher like 10% or even more. But if you 3bet is that high or higher, they give you a C grade etc. Are winning players 3bet size that low? There are also lot of other things like your stealing and blind defense. But are the numbers they use correct and accurate? For example, your bb fold to steal should be between 20-39.99%. Obviously lot of players fold their bb much more and that is not good. But you should be only folding your bb to steal that small of a percentage? They have other stats like sb fold to steal should be so and so and your sb/bb reraise steal should be certain percentage. But is it confirmed these stats they give... are correct?
One thing i notice is they give me a horrible grade when things like raise first in non all in stack 6-12bb. Basically comment is you are often using a nonallin raise size when stack is smaller than 12bb. I sometimes do it... but not always... but its like the report says you should never do it? Also another thing is it says you are often 3betting non all in when your stack is below 25bb. When you hold this stack size, is better to just call, fold or 3bet all in. I know when you have 25bb and someone raises, typically if you reraise, you should just go all in. But many players aren't going to reraise 25bb all in with QQ+ and just reraise 2.5x-3x the initial raise.
So would this mean lot of the partypoker mygame comments are not correct? Other things include it saying you are raising small pairs with not all in size of 12-25bb. Well if you are 6 or 7 handed... doing a preflop raise with 55 or 66 can't be that bad right with 25bb? Obviously doing it with 12bb is bad and should just be a jam.
