I apologize if this is in the wrong section.
My Question is on Poker Etiquette.
If I see a dealer move chips to a wrong/losing player in a hand I am Not In
(as in I dont "have a dog in fight") should I say something or nothing ?
I saw some guy say something and the dealer ended up getting written up for Effing Up.
I thought to myself the guy who opened his mouth in a hand he was not in should have minded his business. I am sure the dealer who got written up felt the same.

You are not only allowed to, but ethically required to, speak up to prevent a mistake in procedure. The dealer should not have gotten written up unless he has a pattern of making mistakes.

I never played live in a casino but I feel like if the dealer gets in trouble for a mistake thats not your problem. It is your (the players) problem though when a player (which could be you) does not recieve his chips after winning a pot.

From TDA (emphasis is mine)

2: Player Responsibilities

Players should verify registration data and seat assignments, protect their hands, make their intentions clear, follow the action, act in turn with proper terminology and gestures, defend their right to act, keep cards visible and chips correctly stacked, remain at the table with a live hand, table all cards properly when competing at showdown, speak up if they see a mistake, call for a clock when warranted, transfer tables promptly, follow one player to a hand, know and comply with the rules, practice proper etiquette, and generally contribute to an orderly event.

From ROberts rules of poker

"3. Any player, dealer, or floorperson who sees an incorrect amount of chips put into the pot, or an error about to be made in awarding a pot, has an ethical obligation to point out the error. Please help us keep mistakes of this nature to a minimum."

Dealers are human, they make mistakes, the tanle as a whole should be protecting the integrity of the game.

Until the day when the guy in the next seat tells you that you should have gotten the last pot that went to seat 8 instead.

Not speaking up is a ****ty thing to do, don’t be that guy.

The alternative to speaking up is letting someone that rightfully earned the pot get robbed right in front of your eyes. Would you rather punish someone that didn't make a mistake over the one that did?

If you see a player make a mistake, say nothing. If you see a dealer make a mistake, correct it.

What if a player is about to act out of turn and you're not in the hand? He's about to act contrary to the structure of the game; I think you should speak up to stop him acting out of turn but then, if this is a legit error on his part and he is giving up his intent early such that it hurts his position, then aren't we violating 1 player to a hand rule?

Speaking up about these kind of dealer errors preserves the integrity of the game.

The best hand tabled should win the pot, that's one of the fundamental rules of poker.
