Is online poker dead for cash games? Is online poker dead for cash games?

First, before some quickly come to the conclusion of "NO", I would agree because if I was someone who exclusively plays cash games (rarely tournaments) I could still see profits, but how much those profits would be, and how much I would need to gamble for those profits is the difference factor.

I am looking to jump from 10 to 25 NL, which is still considered low stakes in 2021. I can't gamble with $50-100 buyins at 50-100 NL and then hope I receive a monthly profit of $500 after a lot of grinding, which comes to my most important decision I have to make...

Based on the experience I am asking the community, which network would be the best place for me to start playing on zoom/blitz/fast forward type of tables, where I'll have a decent traffic during several hours per day and a solid rakeback.

I tried GG, but the rakeback was too low and pokerstars is also no option for me since the rakeback is nearly the same or worse. The Winning Poker Network doesn't have any traffic at 25 NL on their blitz games, so that's also not an option despite the better rakeback.

Party Poker makes the most sense to me, but the way I witness how players (if it's in fact players and not house bots) play there, the decisions they're making, and how they're winning it's disproportionate compared to my experience with GG, and even at GG I've had sessions where I was running way below EV.

Bottom line, this is somebody who's asking the community for hopefully a good advice (if there's any) to share with me or I might have to throw in the towel at making a career out of cash games from online poker in 2021.

It seems to me that cash games have slowly been dying, and it makes no sense to me why networks like GG impose high rake on cash games, and discourage players to get into online poker from the lower limits. Pokerstars have also not done much in over the last 15 years, which is why I've never played there.

If you're willing to play 50NL, then ACR is actually a pretty good option. The 50NL blitz pool runs basically around the clock and you can get 27% rakeback from ACR without an affiliate (not sure what you can get with an affiliate, I don't have one) and they are very transparent about rake.

Bodog has good traffic at 25NL zoom but really bad rake and poor reward system, so you'd have to be relying on the soft pool to make any profit.

I don't know anything about the sites that don't face the US, just my 2 cents. Good luck at the tables.

Why do you need to play blitz? Just play reg tables then
GG has a **** ton of rakeback if you level up in the fish buffet thing

Can you explain how to get rake back on ACR / how that works?

Email ACR support and tell them that you want to opt out of their loyalty program and into rakeback. Make sure that you have cashed in any Medals/points you have already earned first though.

Then you will have a rakeback tab instead of Loyalty Rewards. I think they pay out daily as well.
