Copy the HH in it's original format and paste it into the 2+2 HH Converter - http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/55...anager-989994/

Is there any way I can track my replies I've posted in different forums? I've gone to different forums and posted replies to the ongoing discussion. Is there a way of telling if any of these replies have gotten replies when I first log in to 2+2?

You can click your name and then "find more posts."

You can also click "My 2+2" and then "Subscribed Threads" to see if there are any new posts in threads you've subscribed to.

If there are other methods, I don't know them.

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/subscription.php is the url I use for my 2 + 2 bookmark

I prefer this URL for my bookmark/homepage on 2+2 - http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/usercp.php - so you only see threads with new replies and can also see your subscribed forums if you have chosen any.

I believe the default subscription method here is to subscribe to every thread you post in via the control panel.

Blinds 50/100.

I am in the SB facing a mr from btn with KJ os. My hand has 39% eq vs btn range. I feel if I call the bb will 3 bet 10% of the time thus making me fold.

Is my basic equity calculation ( I know I don't realise all my equity on flop but it's a useful baseline) = Call 150 to win 350 and lose 150 10% of the time = 350*.39-.61*150-15(times we fold to BB) = +30 chips?

Thanks in advance.

Kind of besides the point, but there is no way your equity is 39% with KJ in the SB vs. any half decent BTN. It's way way way higher.

How to post a hand from PT4 and get the replayer to show? I get errors every time.

Edit: Figured it out. Nevermind. 888 is not supported.

Hi all, just a quick one.

Does a HUD show the players stats vs everybody or vs yourself? Or do you have the option to adjust it how you like?

Also, does the HUD change for specific game type? E.g. If a cash player decides to play some turbo SnG's will it just show their turbo SnG stats for that game?

Thanks

In terms of how HM2's HUD behaves since that is what I use (and who I work for):

The HUD shows the player's lifetime stats for all the hands in the database unless filtered otherwise (there are filters for number of players at the table, stack size, age of hands, etc). HM2 has some 'vs Hero' stats for stats based on actions taken only against you.

The HUD filters automatically by game type (cash/tourney and holdem/plo) it will not filter by things like turbo/regular speed or /sng/mtt, etc.

Thanks, answered my question well

Yes, but McDonald's is not giving away 27% of its business in Monopoly prizes

Hi,

I've just started on PS again and actually want to keep stats this time. I'm starting with $20 playing full ring .01/.02 ante cash games and I'd like to figure out my bb/100 win/loss rate.

As it's an ante game I assume i have to adjust the bb upwards from .02 to figure out win rate.

Its .01 ante so with a full 9 players a round costs a total of .12 (9 hands at .01 plus .01 sb and .02 bb).

To me this means effective stakes of .04/.08, is this correct?

Sorry if I've totally mangled terminology, thanks for any help.

Which strategy sub-forum is the most active? I currently play HUSNGs but their forum seems all but dead. Maybe I am just not use to the amount of activity because I use to follow 2+2 in 2007 when poker was much more popular. It would be nice to take up a game that had a bit of a community around it where you could get/give advice and relate to people in the same situation as you.

Appreciate any replies!

2p2 is dying as a strategy forum. With that said, Micro NL is probably the most active.

It works like a supermarket loyalty card.
If you earn points by playing on one site, you won't go and play on a rival one, while you're grinding for a bonus.

when using the rule of 4 and 2 to calculate odds of hitting, how can backdoor draws be included?

Sounds sensible to me.

I think the problem with HUSNG strategy is that a) a lot of it is solved (at least unexploitably), and b) a lot of it depends on the flow of the game so far. Not to mention c) that a lot of people want to keep what they've learnt to themselves as it's pretty lucrative. In 2007 we all had the "let's learn this fun game together!" mindset, but now we have the "I want to make money" mindset.

count your outs, multiply by two to estimate your percentage chance of hitting them from turn to river. multiply by four to estimate your percentage chance of hitting them from flop to river

Oh. Seems like a pointless name. But anyway. Backdoor flush is roughly 4%, backdoor straight where you need one "inside" card is roughly 1%.

You get those numbers by figuring it out in advance. So to get a backdoor flush you take 10/47 * 9/46 = 90/2162 = 4.16%. To make a runner-runner straight with two "inside" cards is 4/47 * 4/46 = 16/2162 = 0.74%. To make a runner-runner with one, it's 4/47 * 8/46 = 32/2161 = 1.48%. Runner-runner where you have three sequential cards is 8/47 * 8/46 = 2.96%.
