HUD Options> HUD Filters

HUD options > HUD Filters > In column "# Players", I'd look for the rownames "8" and "9" and "10" and change it to Min: 7 and Max:10 ?

No. The market is changing, though. Live poker is supposedly on the increase worldwide, but most online sites have seen drops in traffic in the last year, particularly because of the US situation. Poker is becoming increasingly popular in populous nations that aren't in recession, like China, India and Brazil, however. In short, it's the economy, stupid.

So why's the US situation so crap? I understand that a bunch of people lost their money temporarily to FTP (although it was perhaps believed to be permanent). Did so many US citizens really stop playing because they lost their rolls that they had deposited? From my limited understanding other sites accept US players .. Why didn't they all flood there?

Fear of losing money again, fear of possibly breaking the law, it's not always easy to deposit on sites, and cashouts take a long time on some sites.

In the hand replayer on HEM, is there an option to hide the cards of villain?

The US DoJ seized the domain names of of the most popular sites (inc Pokerstars) effectively making them closed for US business, seized a ton of money, and shut down most of the payment processors (claiming wire fraud/money laundering). All TV advertising was immediately stopped, so even if the sites were operational, the recreational players didn't hear about them. I thought the answer would be no, and it would be something to put on the feature request list, but actually it's already there. In HEM2's replayer, click on the "gear" icon to bring up HUD options. Deselect "Show known cards".

When I select tables I look for highest VPIP/pot size. Sometimes I find a table with 30% VPIP but I join and it'll be 15/5 absolute nit table after 40 hands then I'll leave. I.E. the statistic was created as the table was going through its 2-5 handed formation phase.

Any way to say to Pokerstars "hey buddy, only give me table stats of those hands where it's been > 7 handed".

hey, ive been playing for about 5 weeks, but how long should i wait until i learn about things like 'expected value' 'probability' all that stuff.....im slowly learning pot odds and outs at the moment and the next step for me will be taking notes on people at the table...so much to learn....thanks
