Quick question about equity and pot odds...
If my estimated equity in any given spot is not above calling pot odds, is the hand an auto fold?

Quick answer is no because your opponent's tendencies play a role in the decision. Just like if you have a positive EV and you choose to fold to a NIT that won't pay off "enough".

Mandatory flop 3-bet?

25nl 6-max. This is zone poker so I have no reads or HUD on other players

Hero($25) opens in CO with Jd9d, BB($18) calls.

Flop (1.60): 2J9ss. BB checks I bet 1.2, BB raises to 3.6.

Hero???

Seems to me that this is almost mandatory 3-bet however the effective stacks are little awkward here. Would we want to just jam his 3-bet or make a modest size raise to $8-9 and then jam turn on blanks? Definitely seems like some sort high equity draw or pocket deuces.

Stack enough tables that you've taken action somewhere else?

How much should beginners be revising? Obviously everyone is different but seen some people saying 50 percent revision 50 percent play is a good ratio. What do you guys think?

revision = study?

If so.... I think once you are over the hump of early learning (read everything), playing 75% and 25% reviewing your play next day (look over stats and big hands) will do until..... well, until it doesn't. More 50/50 then?

About the 10th-50th percentiles of your opening range.

What do you do when a 70bb nitty recreation opens and you have a decent hand and a bunch of aggressive regs left to act?

eg
UTG (21/7) opens 3x
MP Hero has suited broadways or pp or AQo
Rest of table 22/18/9

Leave the table probably, sounds like an awful game

3bet or fold (3b AQ) but agree with sixfour

I was exaggerating for simplicity. More like 2-3 3bet happy regs behind. Its a zoom table so cant leave. it's a spot that comes up often and I never know what my range should be.

Thanks

Another question.

Where is the best place to play 25-50nl fast tables? I have no desire to do poker as anything as hobby but I don't see the point of not playing the best games possible. Stars games are good but there's no rakeback. I only play 30k hands a month so idk if it's worth changing sites.

i have been playing online for a few years, strictly for fun, low stakes tournaments.

i have never used holdem manager or poker tracker

my question is this, is it possible to use just my username to get a full breakdown of lifetime VPIP and other basic stats? or is this info only attainable with a subscription of some kind, i would not know where to start with PT4 or similar, i am breakeven long term at low stakes so obviously have tons of huge leaks. would love to find out exactly what i can do to improve.

would be willing to pay a modest amount to anybody that could give some pointers

thanks for any help and feel free to pm

Email the site you play on and ask them for a complete history, then import it

What's the logic for opening small in earlier positions compared to the btn? Years ago it was more standard to do the opposite since we have a weaker range otb/co than in UTG and are going to get 3bet more often.

Someone's probably wasted a bunch of fossil fuels on solvers and it's told them to do it. Either that or it's simple risk/reward, or you can inflate the pot more later knowing you've got an increased likelihood of having position on all other streets so want the pot slightly bigger

Is there a way to withdraw money without really high conversion fees? I've been using Skrill but it will charge me $400 to convert $10,000 funds if I want to cash out.

I have a credit card, PayPal and standard bank account. Don't want to pay 8 BIs to withdraw money if I don't have to.
