I have a question on a hand i just played in micro stakes 5 max .Sb=5cent bb=10cent

So hand starts with me looking down at pocket kings in the small blind.It goes limp , limp , limp to me(mirco stakes ikr ).I raise to 60cent(bbx3 and then +1bb for every limper).Bb folds.Utg folds.Mp folds.Button decides to jam all in for $7.90.Pot at the moment is $8.90.Pretty sure my equity is enough to call here considering his loose range?He had been 3betting with hands like suited connectors and even ace-rags.

Anyway so after i call and we turn over our hands he shows Pocket aces...i dont end up cracking em.Is there a way i could have played this hand better?Surely i should'nt have folded?

pot odds question

does pot odds % need ot be higher or lower than your chance to make the hand in order of rus to call?

lets say on flop we are looking for flush draw which should come 36% of time

We are facing a 30$ bet when there is 120$ in the pot, so 120/30 = we are gettign 25% odds


25% pot odds

36% of making hand

we should call becuase odds of making hand are beter than pot odds?


also do we count to 30$ bet into the 120? so in stead of pot being 120 it should be 150?

I'm not sure if this is relevant but it is the micros where villains don't care about ICM and will call shoves wide giving us a better chance of moving up.

Even if villain is correctly shoving very widely, and if you don't know you're not paying enough attention, it's probably still fairly tight - our equity after you take out the mincash is probably about $3, and a double up certainly does not double that

Villain is probably shoving about 90% here (maybe more).

So I think the question here is do we keep folding and hope the other short stack busts on his next all-in or do we try to double up so we can comfortably out last him?

In the game I went with the latter and I am thinking it is still the right call though posting as I imagine I will be in this spot many more times.

Why are various specific preflop solutions obtained using monkersolver sold online for ridiculous price when you can get monkersolver yourself for a fraction of the price? Is it just that the computing power needed for these solves is a lot more expensive ($20k+??)?

I dont really like how Pokerstars give their rewards. You have to do ~2k hands to unlock each of the first 10 chests BUT to unlock the next ones (lvl2) you need like ~20k hands each so you get close to 0 reward at some point when you play nl2 and this is annoying.
