In Texas Holdem are you required to use your 2 whole cards with any 3 community cards like in Omaha? Or can you use only 1 of your cards & 4 community cards? Or even all 5 community cards? Also I have heard that some suits are stronger then others for a tie breaker. I have heard it goes Spades 1st Diamonds 2nd Clubs 3rd & Hearts last is that correct?

You can use both, one or none

You have heard incorrectly. Suits only count when creating a flush hand.

(and even then a spade flush is not better than a club hand. That scenario is impossible BTW....you can't have two different suited flushes in the same hand...not possible.)

And.....in the card game bridge the suit ranking is
Spades>Hearts>Diamonds>Clubs

OP created a thread in BQ which has replies.

This is an unnecessary duplicate, narb. The same people that would help you here have helped you in the thread

When in a tournament it will not take me to open table. I have to look for my seat then several hands have been played before I find seat. Someone told me it was Chrome. If that is what it is does someone know how to turn Chrome off and get another browser for this site.

However you may see this suit ranking come into play in tournaments (live not online) when chips are colored up and in initial button assignments.

For button assignments one card is drawn per seat. High card wins. If the A is drawn, no need to draw further - the nut card has been drawn.

For color ups in tourneys - say they're taking the green 25s out of play - players with < 4 greens have a race off. Like with button assignment, high card wins - starting with A and working down

In each round of betting pre flop, post flop, turn, & river. Is there limit on how many bets can be made? I heard it is 3. 1st the bet 2nd the raise & 3rd the Re-raise. Also I just started playing free online poker with the WSOP app. Is that app good? I see a lot of pay for this syuff on it but I never do.

In limit it's usually four bets, in big bet there is no limit except you're usually all in once you get to more than a couple of raises

Are the terms "shoving" and going "all-in" interchangeable, or are they typically applied in specific scenarios?

Are naked nut flush draws on the flop considered weak hands? Just looking for a general answer if there is one.

It depends on the flop and the situation, AJhh when we've raised pre on an 852hhx board is a lot better than KhQs on an A98hhh board when we've called a raise, or KJhh on an AhAc3h board. Again, turn off your sig

Does anyone remember an old thread about a training routine? I think it was in a weird forum (not here or then nl/plo forums), but It had a training plan that included dropping down stakes to practice hand reading, hud griding, and some other topics.

I was recently involved in a situation that has left me questioning my credibility as a poker player. My confidence has been crushed (seems like a legit poker shark would rather me "think" im good and have a chance) and i feel like an idiot although i cant help but think im right and that ENTIRE group of the same people that play every week are wrong. That seems almost impossible. Regardless, on a psychological level, im no longer considered a threat or a contender (even in my own mind).

So here's the very basic, very elementary situation and i apologize for every bit of money ive won in the, over 2 decades of playing lol.

The board: A ? ? who cares: and irrelevant.

His hand: K ?
My hand: ? ? (doesnt matter)

My seemingly obvious, possibly ignorant train of thought is: i have an Ace high flush...period. Im safe no matter what happens. At worst..split pot(not knowing his whole cards at the time)

The outcome: i lost, i pleaded my case very adamantly and i was informed of my ignorance of the "basic rules of poker" with a general consensus of "how dare this peasant challenge my mighty king" attitude.

Am i right or am i actually ignorant?

I'm not sure what you're saying, but I'll take a shot at what I think you're saying.

Assuming as you say that you and villain both made your flush, that does not mean that you have a chop. Think of it this way:

If you and villain are in a hand and you both have an ace, the higher kicker wins if no one has a pair or better. If I have AK, you have AQ and we both miss the board, my king kicker beats your queen.

When two players both have an ace-high flush, the lower cards become kickers. If my ace-high flush is AT972 and your flush does not have a kicker higher than a ten, my ten kicker wins.

Best five cards win...but you have to use the best five cards.

Both have an Ace high spade flush according to you. And as PokerClif has said, it now becomes a kicker battle so YES, your card ranking DOES matter.

In this case, villain has the top kicker and has the nut hand with:
AKxxx

You (at best hold):
AQxxx
