16/12 is not right for 6max. You can do this and play 20 tables, probably, and win even, but you won't win fast. I love having 16/12 on my left in a 6max game.

Get in there and play poker. Your w$@sd is 59% -- meaning your opponents are willing to show down much worse hands than you. Raise more often from the button (steal).

I've been grinding NL10 - FR for the last few weeks and just been going through the learning curves. Hand selection, tilt management (a big issue for me, I had that just after hand 6577) and just generally coping with the beats. I started off amazingly well - on my first day I was running at about 13bb/100 but then I had KK run into AA a few times which crippled me. I've been getting it together and the beats are less (or maybe i'm getting away from bad spots) and i'm showing signs of progress. I know bb/100 isn't great for now, but I had a big swing down for a few thousand hands which hurt.

Is this sample too small to assess whether i'm a winning player? I just hope posting this doesn't jinx me lol. Apologies about the pic, i'm new to posting pics & haven't done this before.

You're on the rise now so you've obviously learnt a few things, probably from 2+2, so keep at it. Probably too early to asses whether you're a winning player yet but keep going and good luck

the picture is too small for me to read, so i can't really tell. like grim said, you're on the rise so that's a good thing. keep up the good work.

Looks like you are in a good direction.. in another 10k hands or so, try posting your stats in the stats thread and see how you're doing.

So is 30k a good sample for looking at that? Someone at the ring game commented my stats were pretty good for FR today. He listed a bunch of numbers but I don't use them so didn't take much note of them (but I can easily get my stats anyway.) I'm hoping to move to NL25 once I have 30 buy-ins although i'm still a bit of a way off from that; just trying to move it in the right direction. I'm also clearing a $500 bonus courtesy of FTP and i've unlocked about $80 which is helping the roll too.

You have a decent number of hands right now, the reason I'm saying wait a bit until you really start looking at your numbers is it looks like you made some major changes to your game. Because of this, you'll want more hands with your new style of play so that your stats gravitate more towards that new style. Trying to be evaluated based on your stats from play style a mean very little when you now have play style b.

My stats are similar except I started under with only 2200 hands my first 1000 or so I was just getting used to the feel of playing online...Now that I got the hang of it I am winning sessions instead of loosing. I am not over the zero mark by $10 and working my way up.

OI am playing 2tables 1 10NL 6max and 1 5NL 6Max and that seems to work well for me...Most of my looses were at 2NL.

Just stick with it and keep grinding we will both be nicley up.

I am working to get my BR up to $500 the I am going to try 25NL.

This is true....i've definitely made a few changes to my game & tightened up my ranges and not committing so much to my steals. More importantly i've actually laid down aces in a few spots too which i'm sure they weren't good.

My biggest challenges are not to tilt which i'm getting the hang of. Not to be complacent & take gambles pre-flop with speculative hands unless I get really good odds, keep my hand range to how it is & to just try make the right calls when the odds are correct.

Quick update from tonight, put in just under 500 hands, nothing too spectacular and fell off from a high.

Hands like this don't help - not asking for help as I know this isn't the place, I just don't know what goes through people's heads but it's nice to have luck like this.

Well I finally hit the $200 mark to move to 5NL...

Is this a reasonable graph? Are the stats reasonable for the level? Feedback appreciated.
