Hi guys,

I am playing 5-max No Limit holdem on a Swedish poker site (where there are 5 max or 10 max tables). In the picture below you can see my stats.

I am wondering what I am doing wrong. So far (almost 70k hands) I am running -20$. Can you see any leaks/stat that is bad/ could be improved? Thank you for reading and answering. If you need to see something else to have a full judgement just tell me what you need.

Not quite sure how to interpret your stats since this is 5-max and I play full ring.

What I will say is that it seems that you've been playing decent winning poker for the last 50,000 hands. If this is 10NL then you're winning at 4bb/100 since then.

In particular, you seem to have stopped losing a ton at showdown in short periods of time (were you tilting a lot to begin with, or playing stakes higher than you could beat)?

It might help for you to to pick a custom date range since whenever it was that you hit 20,000 hands. Looking at the difference in your stats before and after that point might help you see what's working now and what wasn't before.

If you start getting "average luck", then your style should be crushing those games, so if you can avoid tilt I'm confident you'll be doing fine in another 30k or so, as your stats look very reasonable. WTSD is a little high, but I'm guessing those games are pretty soft with lots of "I hate folding" players, so getting to showdown a lot shouldn't be a major leak.

Filtering the results for the different stakes, or changing the graph to show the results in big blinds instead of currency would clarify the matter somewhat. If you ran particularly badly at higher stakes, that kind of messes up the graph as a whole.

Hello,

I began playing poker for cash 2 months ago. This is my first 12k hands. I have read "Building Bankroll" and still reading "Crushing the Microstakes".
I am playing NL2 6Max.

Your opinions will be appreciated (To be honest, I would happily face your heavy criticism).

Here are my graphs and stats:

The most obvious leaks:
  • Calling too much preflop
  • Folding too much to preflop 3bets
  • Not folding enough to preflop 4bets given it's 2NL
  • Folding too much to steals

In general, your stats are pretty good and with those stats I'd expect you to be a winner at 2NL

If you've won $32.05 in 216688 hands of NL10, surely that's 1.48 bb/100 rather than 0.7? Or have I got that wrong?

Anyway, your giraffe clearly shows progress since you started out. If you filter what you're looking at so it starts at approximately 70k hands, when there's a clear change, then you've probably won about $400 in approximately 140k hands. That's 2.86 bb/100.

Not so bad.

So many people take this "whole career" approach and then worry about their current winning game because their old losing game is distorting the results. Not really sure why.

Yeah, I look at that graph and more or less ignore the first 80k hands. If you can filter those out (by date or by setting "last 120,000" or whatever), the stats would be much more useful. There doesn't seem to be much positional awareness, and it seems bHappeH is somewhat nitty (maybe a mass-tabler?) but at least the graph has been trending upwards.

Thanks for the replys.

There are some nl2-5-25 hands in the mix so i guess that can cause some confusion.

Here are the last 160k hands: http://imgur.com/TypTrdo

Im already trying to steal and defend vs steals way more often.

Hello everybody,

I don't know if it's right place to post, but I want to learn how to find my leaks on Pokertracker. I research it on internet, most ppl talk about leakbuster. I am winner 2bb/100 on 2NL over 25k hands, I am sure I have obvious leaks. I am looking my stats and can't find any leaks. I neither have limited knowledge about using PT4 nor I do not have much idea about finding leaks.
Your help will be appreciated. Especially I am looking for players who can crush micro limits >10bb/100 over a large sample. BTW, I am using teamviewer.

Thank you.

Posting your positional stats in this thread would be a good start.

Pokerbill svs right? Look at your stealing from the cu, and you're leaking alot of money from the blinds imo, perhaps you're calling to much? Construct a solid 3b range around 16%, put pressure when you're in position, make the players cold call a 3b and that way force them to make a misstake.

Hi,

Just started playing $3.50 SNG's and would like some feedback on some basic stats, please.

I understand these games are a lot about push/fold but I thinks its important to get some basics right.

Thanks

6 max

1. My red line graph is about -2BB/100 over 40k hands, is it normal?
2. How should I evaluate my AFq? It's about 49.
3. My WSD is 29% and W$SD is 49. Are these stats acceptable?
4. Are my cbets and Steal acceptable?

Thanks.

Dvil first of all you should start defending your blinds, especially BB. Then wider your ranges etc, but get rid of "fold to steal 90%". That's where i would start.

This is my lifetime of 2NL about 2 years of playing on and off, was looking for a critique. I believe a lot of my shortcomings have come from the beginning when I was a worse player than I am now. Thoughts?

Thanks.

Hye guys, first i'd like to apologize for my bad english. I played NL2 and now i'm playing NL4 SH fast poker on french Bwin room. I'm aware i'm not agressive enough (not enough 3bet bluff). I think i don't 3barrel enough for value. But most of all, my red line is totaly a mess, i think i fold second pair on high cards boards too easily.

I've been playing for almost one years, but seriously working for two weeks. I started learning from scratch and from the basics. I'd like to work my game, apart from the time i have besides my studies. Here are my graphs, i you could give me some advices, i would really be pleased

Have a nice day all

In an attempt to get my Graph critiqued here is one thing that jumps out at me Ryuuketsu:

You seem to be too tight in the SB and BB, playing 13% of hand in the small blind means that your blind are being stolen too much. You can widen your range here to like 25% depending on your opponent. Try raising more often and with a larger range OTB or in the SB it will steady your red line a little bit.

Cheers
