ok, im kinda bored right now and have nothing to do (except exam revision
). i could be playing mid stakes on full tilt but the games arent very good atm (4pm UK time, 11am EST) and i want to do something relaxing. so im going to try an experiment on pokerstars....
i have $383 randomly left on there. instead of playing ridiculously underolled, i am going to give something back to twoplustwo beginner forum by attempting to grind it up starting from NL10. i have zero experience of NL10 and very minimal experience of NL25 (i switched to cash at NL50), so it should be quite challenging, and i want to see if i can highlight the differences i find at the various levels as i move up, using specific hands to demonstrate.
im not going to use this as a blog or anything like that so i hope it doesnt get locked.
i wouldnt be playing anything above NL100 if it wasnt for twoplustwo (im currently playing NL400 on full tilt), so i feel like i owe the community something. with a bit of luck i can post some strategy in the near future that will help a lot of micro stakes grinders improve their games and move up.
the plan:
* use proper bankroll management - at least 20 buy ins for each level
* move from NL10 to NL200 asap on pokerstars (i.e. get from $383 to $4000)
* play at least 10,000 hands at each level
* i will be playing roughly 6 tables at a time on average.
* im gonna play mostly UK day time.
* post some strategy on here now and again relating to good spots i get myself into (im purposely going to play kinda laggy so i can get into some good spots with regs)
and so the experiement begins...
