Hi Guys, I am finally starting to get some earnings from my session and are currently studying as much Poker theory as I can.

I am writing and diary of all the days I am playing, but unfortunatly I haven't found an easy way to record my hands.

Do you know of any drag and drop recorder, which I can record easily? Or advise me how to use any of the hand history tool? I find this a bit complicated!

This is my first post of many on this forum, and I am looking forward to my time spent here.

Greetings from Norway

Welcome!

What site(s) do you play on? Some allow the use of software databases that can be set up to automatically download your hands.

Hey King Spew, Thanks for your reply.

I am playing on Pokerstars. But I am looking for an easy way to convert my hands, or do a quick screen record. All this numbers are to messy for me when I am trying to study it, and it takes to long. I would appreciate every advise I can get on this subject

Have you looked into a database program like PokerTracker (PT) or Holdem Manager (HEM).

As far as I know each has a hand replayer that can be used for review. During play on Stars, you have the ability to quickly tell your database program to highlight the particular hand for later review. Off the tables, you can scan your hand histories by date and see which hands you highlighted.

The database programs offer SOOOOOO much more. If you plan to play on sites that allow PT or HEM, then purchasing the product is really a no-brainer. (Maybe start saving now). Understand....if you play on such a site..... our (2+2 regular posters) opinion is that at least half your table will be using a database like these and THAT will put you at a competitive disadvantage.

Yes, I am already using HUD, but I have chosen Jivaro, because I like the look of it. But I am starting to consider PT.

The best thing for me would just be an drag and drop recorder for my screen, but I can't find an application that does this for as easy as I want it to.

Google is your friend. There are dozens of screen recorders imo. I personally use the one that is part of my film editing suite (Pinnacle). But have never wanted to record a full session myself. Individual hand analysis is where I learned the most.
