I have always been mainly a FR player, so those have been the most helpful for me. This forum is ok when your starting up but really the bread and butter is posting hands in your respective forum. Recently the FR forum split into 2 forums, but you can still get good advice in the micro forum.
Pick a game (cash for me), and stick to it. I wasted so much time messing around trying different stuff. Nowadays i occasionally break up the games by trying something new but now i am able to do because of how versatile my game has become. When you start up you need to pick a game and stick with it (and that game should be cash but w/e).
95% of the people on 2+2 who end up losing they money lose it not because they just suck (although that hurts you), but from not having good br management and tilt control. Pick a game, stick with it, dont tilt, move down if you lose a lot. Tomorrow always feels better when you wake up realizing you only lost 2 bi, then if you go on crazy tilt and lose your roll.
