I was looking for the amount of experience.

I would say I reread TOP about once per year. Usually learn something new each time.

I have not read MOP. My understanding is the book is a bit beyond my feeble mind.

Both excellent books, MOP is a bit theoretical and given your other posts probably not the greatest purchase

TOP is great if you've never given the game any thought.

MOP is a great book, but you need to have prior knowledge. Not about poker but math. The book is easily understandable with very limited poker experience if you have a math background. If you are an experienced “feel” poker player, you might get frustrated with it.

Applications of No Limit Hold’em does a better job of explaining the concepts before applying them and people told me there’s a book by Ed Miller that’s about the same concepts but basically no math at all.
