I was looking through threads and seen a few people talking about their ROI.
I thought I'd calculate mine (roughly to my best knowledge of what I can remember from my first ever visit to a live poker tourney).
Now I started live tournies when I was like 20, I'm now 24, however I've judged per year I've only entered around 10-12 live tournies (terrible I know).
Out of all of these spanning over 4 years this is around 40-50 live tournies, out of all of these I've made FT around 12 times, cashed around 6/7 times and won only 1.
However this is what has intrigued me, having looked on how to calculate ROI out of all of the buy ins (usually spanning from £25-£35) my cashes add up to around £1200 and buy ins add up to £1400-£1500.
I understand I am a player who barely plays (too much work not enough poker unfortunately) but I do want to be more serious in poker. Judging over these 4 years of going to play "now and again" without any studying and still managed to win a tournament (field 45ish) all in all my ROI is 10% which is not too bad right?
I just wanted to share to see if this is good to see if I do properly study I could do miles better live?
Sorry for the long post and I appreciate the time you have all took to read and reply.
