What does live poker tournament mean? Is it playing a tournament online or in casino?

In a casino(or card room). Playing face to face with live players, with a live dealer.

it could be anywhere other than online (bar, pub, casino, friends house, in your garage)

real live opponents , not avatars. real cards, real chips. Old fashioned social interaction in a group. There is a middle area of live players on an electronic table. Some folks like it, some do not.

Well my experience is that most places I play ( Indiana and Ohio) are full of week end rec players who are very social. Now weekdays may be more like you say, but I don't go donate to the regs on Tuesdays

Maybe not so much. As was mentioned, weekends are still usually social. Weekdays vary.

Although I try not to get too friendly, otherwise friendly players start asking if I want to check it down too much, which is annoying. When asked, I think in my head, I didn't come here to check it down.

It means you win an entry to a live event or a satellite, which is a smaller buyin tournament where the prizes are entries to a bigger tournament.

Why does it say on pokerstarson 2nd chance freeroll in the promotions section that the prizepook is over 7,500 dollars when if you scroll download the playera that won the prizepool recieved tickets?? If you don't know the answer than please tell me about Someone that maybe knows the answer...
