Welcome ... couple of things .. (not to sting you too hard in your first post)
1) How do you know you are 10th of 18 in a live tournament?
2) How are you 10th of 18 if 'everyone' has 10BB?
3) How is a tournament even in this spot where the average stack is under 15BB?
Typically you call down tighter than you can shove, but in the 10BB range I'm not so sure that it matters as much. I assume we are looking at pp/AK/AQ-ATs/KQ-KJs but even that might be a little tight. Is there an ante?
Players may be shoving as light as T9s in these spots, so having a pair or a couple of Broadway cards isn't going to generate any strange looks from the masses. But only you know how the previous action has shown down. I've seen plenty of A9o v 33 and you're not even close to the money. So the consideration is Players are just trying to chip up and steal more often than you might exptect at a Final Table where ranges get much tighter for laddering up. GL
