KK from MP, Does BB have AA? KK from MP, Does BB have AA?

Playing $1-2
Effective stacks $300
Villain in BB not tricky, not too aggressive, loose
Hero viewed as tight

Hero opens for $10 from MP with KK
Folded to BB who makes it $30 to go.
Hero makes it $75
Villain makes it $150

Hero tanks then finally folds
Villain shows cards to SB as he throws them in.

I just thought it was too strong of a chance villain had AA.

I tend to flat in position with KK in EP/MP vs a 3-bet by BB. His 3-betting range is already very tight, and 4-betting just folds out his bluffs. A 5-bet is almost certainly gonna be KK+/AKs, so it's OK to fold to it (although this means you just turned KK into a bluff), but I think you actually do better in the long run by flatting the 3-bet kings in that spot*. You could 4-bet in LPvBB, as the BB can stack AK, QQ or even JJ in those kind of spots.

* Most people always 4-bet and stack off kings in every spot. I think they are wrong to do so.

I don't think we are just limping in with KK here really so that rules that out.
could we fold to a BB 3 bet? calling a 3 bet makes things kind of difficult if a ace hits. that will happen 18% of the time if my math is right. if he has a pair hes going to hit trips 12.5% of the time.

if it was 40BB deep in a tourney and levels are going up every 20 mins I'm 4 betting. here your 150BB deep and its cash. levels don't increase.

you have only put in 5BB. you can't lose what you don't put in the middle. consider folding more instead of 4 betting.

call to try and hit trips with KK. if he has AA he may (most likely) stack off if its K 4 8, Kh 9s 7s flop.

Under no circumstances should you be folding KK to a 3bet. Your suggesting folding on the basis that villain could make a better hand post flop. If we applied that strategy we would never be calling or value betting.
How many hands do you have on villain? Some opponents will stack off pre with QQ/AK. Villain obviously also has KK in their range as well. Even a tight opponent can make a move and villain is 5 betting out of the bb hu which probably means he's more likely to be making a move. All in all I don't think this is a spot to fold KK because villain can only have AA.

nooooooo

I'm a huge nit in live poker and even I don't fold KK to a 3bet. I mean I *could* in the right circumstances but it would have to be a highly unusual villain.

If this is 1-2 live then in my experience BB will have aces or kings almost every time here. You have 2 kings so this is a fold for me.
