could we fold to a BB 3 bet? calling a 3 bet makes things kind of difficult if a ace hits. that will happen 18% of the time if my math is right. if he has a pair hes going to hit trips 12.5% of the time.
if it was 40BB deep in a tourney and levels are going up every 20 mins I'm 4 betting. here your 150BB deep and its cash. levels don't increase.
you have only put in 5BB. you can't lose what you don't put in the middle. consider folding more instead of 4 betting.
call to try and hit trips with KK. if he has AA he may (most likely) stack off if its K 4 8, Kh 9s 7s flop.
Under no circumstances should you be folding KK to a 3bet. Your suggesting folding on the basis that villain could make a better hand post flop. If we applied that strategy we would never be calling or value betting.
How many hands do you have on villain? Some opponents will stack off pre with QQ/AK. Villain obviously also has KK in their range as well. Even a tight opponent can make a move and villain is 5 betting out of the bb hu which probably means he's more likely to be making a move. All in all I don't think this is a spot to fold KK because villain can only have AA.
