That's eight consecutive losing sessions. Short (200-500 hand) sessions, but it still hurts. Would anyone mind having a look over one to see if I'm doing anything horrifically wrong? I felt I played pretty well this session, and didn't lose much (30bb). Just one hand I'd like to ask a simple question about - two villains are aggrofish (70/60 sorts), this is standard right? I figured that the BB was folding most of the hands I was flipping with as my image at the table was quite tight:
UTG raises to $0.08, fold, fold, MP+1 raises to $0.56, fold, fold, Hero raises to $2.19 and is all-in, fold, UTG calls $2.10 and is all-in, MP+1 calls $0.84 and is all-in
Flop:($5.79, 3 players) 8 7 4
Turn:($5.79, 3 players) 8
River:($5.79, 3 players) 4
Spoiler:
MP+1 shows 9 K (Two Pair, Eights and Fours) (Pre 25%, Flop 9%, Turn 5%) Hero shows A Q (Two Pair, Eights and Fours) (Pre 60%, Flop 82%, Turn 83%) UTG shows 9 A (Two Pair, Eights and Fours) (Pre 16%, Flop 9%, Turn 12%) Hero wins $0.00 UTG wins $0.74 Hero wins $0.75 UTG wins $2.01 Hero wins $2.01
And what do you all think of this hand? Villain is 35/3 over 40 hands. Right not to cbet?
I'd probably not call turn on hand 2, he's passive and obviously has some piece of that board so you're almost certainly beat. You'll probably need to hit the flush on the river to have a chance and there's still the chance you'll have a lower flush like what did happen.

made about $30 over 8-10k hands in the past couple days at 2nl 6-max got BR around $510 now. Il probably have to hit some more 5nl/10nl to keep silver this month, still need around 80 VPPs i think
I actually think its a good idea to be nitty sometimes with your bankroll. Like if you fell like your "running bad" or not playing your A game. Also, maybe you just are learning poker in general or how to play at a new stake( i.e. making that jump from 10nl to 25 nl) and the actual dollar difference is bothering you. For me, I have about 100 k hands at 10nl but I still feel gross when I drop 10 buy ins str8( THATS 100 DOLLARS!!! THAT'S ALOT OF MONEY!!!) .
Still, I'm a standard 40 BI type of guy when it comes to NLHE online.. but I think everyone should play with a BR that they fell comfortable playing with. I know alot of guys playing high stakes/ nosebleed stakes were loose with their bankrolls when they were first starting their "careers" and somehow got lucky... but I'm not comfortable going that route( Maybe because I'm not 21 yrs old anymore lol)
When taking shots, I think I'm going to go with a 40 BI for current stakes + 4 BI for the next limit online.
TDA:
Hand 1 worked out well for you. I wouldn't flip with AQo but as you can see people do with worse!
Hand 2 is a bad board for our hand. I'd probably play it the same way. Wouldn't bother betting the river unless it completed our flush which it did, but we have a very poor flush, so may just check it.
Always nice to end the month with the first winning session out of 10. Only three quarters of a buyin, but hey. Just one hand I was wondering about. Vil is 11/5 (but probably positionally unaware based on ATS), haven't seen him get out of line before, and normally seems to size bets normally:
Yeah I made it, was really happy with my BR at ~$700 then I go back on and got slapped in the face with a barrage of coolers and I'm back down to ~$500. If I fall down anymore it's back to NL10 for me, I can't even believe I let it happen again; I get a heater and just suffer a equally big downswing. FML!
Could really do with drowning my sorrows right now, thankfully I have T in the Park on Thursday so that will keep my mind off Poker for a bit. **** Poker.

gl man dropping down to 10nl might not a bad idea especially if your steaming a bit. hope you come back strong and rebuild that br.
