ICM, bubble dynamics and bet sizing, what's the best studying material about it? ICM, bubble dynamics and bet sizing, what's the best studying material about it?

Actually I don't play holdem/omaha but I need to apply those concepts in other games, and I guess studying holdem material is the only way to go.

I'm not at all a beginner, but it's long I don't work on NLH and my knowledge about it it's very outdated

Again, I'd need to study:

1) ICM

2) Bubble play Dynamics

3) Bet sizing

is there any book/video (even if I actually prefer written work as following spoken English is not very easy for me) whatever, that you would suggest? (I don't mind getting an all book even if evntually I'd need only the 10% of it)

I was thinking about getting

For Icm and Bubble:

1 Harrington on Modern Tournament Poker

2 A little C. Moshman book, "Sit & Go 2.0 Strategy"

3 And also getting the Jonathan Little Application "Tournament Poker Coach", which maybe wouldn't seem the most professional way to study poker, but actually made me a good impression

When it comes to bet sizing, I was thinking to go with the 2 books advertised above. I don't really know what to expect from them, but as everybody seems to like them..

4 No-Limit Hold 'em For Advanced Players

and

5 Applications of No-Limit Hold em

Would you advice something guys? maybe something you read/watched and found helpfull, or maybe that you think is more specific with what I'm looking for.

Or maybe you read what's listed above and you think it's not the case I get it? (again, topics I'm looking for are: ICM, bubble play and bet sizing)

Thank you

What game do you play, if not Holdem or Omaha? Most other games are fixed limit aren't they, so I'm a bit confused about why you need advice on bet-sizing.

A beginner's guide to ICM should be found easily enough on google. The basic idea is that you don't want to get involved in big pots with players that can cripple or bust you on the bubble (or a pay jump), but you can put pressure on players that are in the situation of trying to avoid confrontations. Uneven stacks on the bubble usually means that one player "bullies" the table, because he has everyone covered, medium stacks avoid confrontations with him (i.e. they fold a lot), but they might pressure each other, and the shorties usually have to "gamble" at some point, if they don't have enough chips to "fold it in".

e.g. If you're SB vs BB and you have 19bb and the BB has 12bb in a NLH game, but there are other people with 2bb, you can jam very wide on the BB and it's very hard for him to call, because with most hands he'd be better off folding and waiting for a short stack to be blinded out. i.e. ICM/bubble factors can increase your fold equity.
