I don't know what to do in this spot I don't know what to do in this spot

I don't know what is the best line on this spot, I will make an example but I want to understand what to do in general terms, or what to do depending on the suitation.

STT 9 max, first lvl. I raise x3 from MP with JTs hearts. Btn 3bet x8 and SB calls.

Flop is: 8h9h2s

I check, BTN cbets 1/2 pot. SB folds.

My problem with this is: If I C/R and BTN calls, and comes a brick, what to do next?

I ussualy C/R all in, but I get lots of folds by doing that. Is probable a big mistake. Should I play it like an "all in" in my mind, street by street, and what happens, happens?

Fold to the raise pre, as played probably check/jam and hope he has AK and folds so you don't get it in flipping and hence spraying equity to everyone else

Hero is a 2:1 favorite against AK on this flop. Unless stacks are already a little more shallow (effective stack smaller than ~55BB), which isn't too likely in the first level of a STT, we want for him to call the shove. With stacksizes around 75BB which is pretty common early on, getting called wins ~25BB more than having AK fold.

Preflop obv. also depends on stack sizes, but hero gets 4:1 to call with a hand that plays very well multiway.

We've been three bet and then had one of the blinds called out of position, that we're getting 4:1 doesn't really concern me given we're crushed extremely often and the best case scenario is a remote shot at getting two pair and hoping to stack an overpair, or getting a big combo draw where we're flipping, which isn't something you want to do early in an STT

Of course we want AK to call if he does have that and we do jam the flop, but he's probably not

STT SNG 9 max, 1st level, you fold JTs preflop in MP without a 2nd thought.
