My name is Matthias, 28y, and i live in Belgium. ive been playing poker for +-13 year. I made some profit before Black Friday on Full Tilt. Later on pokerstars, had some decent wins nothing that big. Been to Vegas, played in the WSOPE in Berlin.

Today I don't play alot online, only the SCOOP's WCOOP's and from time to time 8-game cash and FLO8.

Yet I want to play more but Ive nobody to discuss the game anymore.
So I would like to get to know someone who I can talk to and discuss our sessions. maybe help eachother and have some fun. You don't have to be a reg but at least have my level JK

there is probably a thread for this, yet I could not find it.

you will get the best advice from very knowledgeable people on the forums here. that is where to be to get better. as well as studying books and articles.

if you are looking for a friend than thats on you. and poker friends arent always the best friends to have as you will find out. and poker is a solitary profession and sport.

It’s just that maybe someone for Belgium or the nederlands would read it.
because our poker community has no central point.

Having people you know in real life to be able to share costs in the bigger tournaments can help. Maybe there's some people there that wanna play in the games you wanna play.

I'm from Belgium too I go sometimes to casino Viage for some tournaments/cash, also pokkahnights. Maybe we have already seen each other around I'm grinding micros atm. Got 30K hands in this month, not much but it's something.

but you guys should spend more time in the non poker threads here, that's where the relationships are built, it can be difficult because it's mostly people that have known each other forever so not the most receptive at first and mostly insider jokes etc but if you spend enough time you'll soon be part of those virtual gangs

yea there is some real communities outside of the poker only forums. i personally have learned a great deal from them and had lots of fun.
even getting to know from the keyboard people like rickroll and others that are amazing individuals.
