Ok to those that all seem to have sand in their cracks and seem furry furry mad; OP already made such a thread basically whining and adding literally nothing of value. Now he does it again, in BQ for some reason that I cannot begin to understand, and with no question or anything that could provide value to anyone.

If OP wants to whine, there is BBV. I am not saying he'll get a warm welcome but neither should a thread that consists of purely whining about beats. Not only that, in the other thread he said he played every single hand perfectly, so he's not looking to get advice about his play or something.

Then I make an irrelevant post in a worthless thread and I get the business end? Have you read any of my posts in BQ that contain actual strategy and where OP makes an effort? I am betting you haven't, because else you wouldn't be such whiny douchebags.

You are being of no help at all. Kelvis is being a tiny tiny tiny bit of help.

Realising that people who are around and have played a lot do not care about your tiny sample or bad beats is pretty important because you also should not care about them. Control what you can (i.e. stop sucking at poker) and make sure the stuff you can't control (i.e. results) doesn't bite you in the ass.

Your focused on losing op.
Focus on winning. start to remember all the hands you won. and how you won them.
come back here and tell us which hands you won.

I will help you.

headsup

I have K3o heads up with a 10BB stack. BB has around 7BB. I shove all in. BB thinks about it for a while and calls with A3o.

I now have to beat the odds and win this hand to win the tournament. 25% chance of winning. here we go.

hit a K on the flop and we hold. ****ing beautiful.

if you have made the commitment to play poker then you should focus on the wins and how you won them and not think about the bad beats or even bad play. focus on the good plays you make and make more of them rather than trying to fix the bad plays and thinking about quiting because your either unlucky or you suck which destroys self esteem.

Pretty much guarantee most replies will be along the line of "didn't read...blah, blah, but w/e got a couple of minutes to kill.

I wouldn't bother Kelvis, anybody worth a damn on here will have read some of your better posts and thanked you (verbally or just inwardly) and anybody with some time in will know trolls have chased off some really good posters over the years with all their toxic negativity.

Simple fact you post a really long helpful analysis on here and get fa in the way of thanks, or one wee ***** slap, and all **** breaks loose.

Some of you snowflakes are really are not cut out for poker...some times a short slap is (or should be) as effective as a wall of constructive text, and anyway, for any decent question, there are nearly always a mix of replies of all types...just use your brain and look for the trend ffs, rather than get all precious because somebody took the urine.

Anyway, its the internet, I'm on sea fishing forum and it is exactly the same. Just been reading a thread by a world class sea bass angler (published) who quit posting advice and guidance in 2014 because too many people took exception to his sense of humour. A world class resource turned off by trolls.

My times up on here, can't be arsed anymore...and I'm not really that good anyway, so nobody will or should give a toss.

But thanks for all that improved my game (Kelvis included) and thanks for anybody that *****-slapped me when I was a total noob. It made me a better player and that is all I ever cared about.

lol "biatch": triggers the profanity filter, that's kinda funny in the context of this post

PS if any of you noobs are confused... I changed my un, I've been on here since 2011.

If an experienced and respected poster dismisses your rant, if you are smart, you will understand it is because you have said nothing of value. Kelvis was quite a bit more polite than I would have been in dismissing one more 'I am so good, but I am so unlucky, that is why I lose' whines.

The fact that you didn't see Kel's point (I guarantee every other BQ posting reg saw it immediately) is not a reflection on him.

Hint: no one is going to respond positively to one other guy with alack of understanding of variance posting another set of bad beat stories and expecting to be told how special he is and how the world is unfair.
04-22-2019 , 05:16 PM
To be fair I do talk a lot of **** in NVG and other forums that kind of invite it. My responses are 99% tailored to the content in the thread. That means in BQ I am generally polite, and in NVG I am a total idiot.
04-22-2019 , 07:30 PM
OP sure looked like a rant that belonged in BBV, and Kelvis is one of the valued posters in BQ (at least to me in my lurking throughout the years)
