Every time i try and post an image i have saved on my laptop it says 'please enter the URL of your image' what does this mean and where do i find the URL? I've got it saved under 'pictures' on my laptop.

Trying to some statistics from PT4 on another topic but can't figure out how to do it for the life of me lol.

You need to upload them to a site

Google "picture upload"

Once you have your image uploaded on a site it will give you a url and you just pop that in the image bit of creating a post on here and that should be it

Need to make sure you use click the little square with mountains in it.

Can anybody help me with this? I've tried imageshack and google drive. But with both I get a 404 no image shown like this:

GoogleDrive is useless for image embedding. With imageshack, I'm not sure if they give you a direct link to the PNG/JPG, or just a URL to a page full of adverts.

Imgur.com seems to be more widely used nowadays than either of the previous sites. I don't think I need to go into a detailed post on how to use imgur since the instructions are basically the same as for photobucket (selecting the image from your computer, selecting the direct code and pasting it here....). There is one difference that does make it easier to upload images to imgur itself though. If you have the window of the folder open on your computer where your image is, you can drag and drop it to imgur and it will upload automatically. You can also upload images without creating an account apparently, but that doesn't seem to be a major perk as far as I am concerned.

You are taking a link that contains two images on imgur and posting them on 2+2 as if it's one image. From your imgur link, you can right click on your first photo and click copy image address. That is what you would post in the insert image box. Repeat for the second image.

I had originally tried this with a single image on one page using the link given when I first posted it, and it also did not show. I was not aware that I could right-click/copy the link address, though.
