How to improve my game ? How to improve my game ?

Hi friends !

I know this is a wild question but i'm playing micro CG stakes and i would want to improve in some spot but i don't know the "golden way" to do it.
I have CREV and GTO+, Pokersnowie and HM2

For example if i want to elect the "perfect" sizing in a dry board with a top pair middle kicker otf against a CO opener being BB what would be the way to choose it figuring ranges defined ?

Or a x-raising range on a wet flop in a 3bet pot ?

I figure out that there is plenty of way to do it but there is the "perfect one" for someone who's just began to be interested in ?

And I have a second question concerning gto+, when i try to solve a situation, my laptop begin to freeze and i've to exit the soft.
I know that i've to get a powerfull computer with a good processor but i can't figure out what exactly i have to buy

Cheers

If you defended the BB vs the CO, the optimal size for most of your range will be zero. Just check the flop.
If you put the scenario into Snowie, it might suggest donk-betting occasionally, but the EV of betting and checking will be very similar, if not exactly the same. I almost never donkbet in heads up pots.

If the positions are reversed and you're in CO and flopped TPGK, the best sizing really depends on the exact board. Sometimes your range will want to bet big and sometimes it will want to bet small. It's not particularly easy to work out how all the factors interract. That said, with weaker kickers, you're generally better off with small bets or check backs, because you don't want to play huge pots with marginal hands.

Laptops are far from ideal for running solvers. Some people are using custom-built desktop monsters with 6 cores and tons of RAM (i.e. machines costing over $2000). There are suggestions on the best PC specs in the various threads aboout Pio and GTO+ in the software forum.

Snowie should be adequate for your needs most of the time. Just run some scenarios with it and make a spreadsheet on what you find, vis a vis betting frequencies and sizes on various flops.
