I am a micro stakes player mostly NL2 and NL5, when I started out I was obviously a fish, then I studied a lot tried to learn the basics, by using that in addition to running really hot I had a pretty solid winrate. I did not understand I was running really hot at the time so I thought I am just really good now or something. Then I continued playing, while I splashed out all of my won money and even later deposits which got me to realise how wrong I was at thinking I was any good.

At this point I went on to read forum threads like many people suggest here to people who post threads like the one you're reading right now. Every day read atleast a page. In addition I watched poker streams of pros playing online studied their game, watch hand reviews while playing less but still playing quite a lot of poker still losing and throwing away money to other people. Not knowing what to do.

Here I decided to ask if I can get a live lesson from a person in my family who is a winning player at NL25 NL50 NL100 for about 3 years now, We played with mine or his account for about 20 hours combined until I had to leave after the winter break, because I am student at a university. Here I decided to switch from stars to 888 and I deposited 30 buyins (888poker NL2 has a 1$ max). I also got a HUD(I looked at leak detection at 6max it says I am completely fine I am applying a good strategy), here I went on to triple my bankroll playing NL2, had a decent win rate 7BB/100 hands, that's way more that I could've dreamed of at that point of my poker career. But here it came crashing down again, same old song I have heard a ton of times, here it came again and I lost 2/5 of my winning the other ones I just decided to withdraw, because i was so frustrated, I was left with 30 bucks again, and now I am hardstuck grinding 1 - 2k hands a day, reading threads, watching reviews I am doing everything I can come up with to learn this game which I love, but I am in which I am coming up short in all the time.

So here's what I want you to help me with lovely people of 2+2 I am willing to put in all the work I need all the time I can to learn this game, is there anything that you could give me advice, articles, threads, videos, etc.. Just anthing, you can think of that would help me improve and get rid of the leaks and make me a winning player atleast at the micros?

Getting PM messaging capabilities on 2+2 is fuzzy science. It occurs over time, never instantly. Being a posting member in good standing is the quickest way.

Maybe some other experienced player can help me out here..... Please.. I am willing to do as much work as I have to, just need some person to put me on the right track.

Hello, wanted to just update these two people if you are still interested in my career. I started reading the threads that King Spew directed me to (I would highly disagree with the people that say they are outdated, atleast the ones at the start, had not read all of them yet of course but I have read a decent amount of them). Getting back to the point......
So I have been a winning player as of recent at around 8bb/100 hands on 15000 hands (not a big sample size but I think it's valid). I have changed my play style it was not fit for micros for sure I had to thighted wayyyyyy up, stop 3betting non premium hands, because they still call a big 3bet with KJo J9o all the time even the so called "regs" at micros. Have been mostly playing fast fold poker tables because my laptop is so bad it lags on 4 tables or even 3 most of the time. So I have been doing great but still have a long way to go for sure. Still don't have a big enough bankroll to take shots at more respectful stakes but look forward to trying them.
