whats the best way to aquire skill to win live mtt's?

I understand i also need luck to win too.

Should i buy all the books on mtt strategy? and study. read the fourms

I'm wanting to play only live mtt's.

90% practice on skills once u knew the fundamentals. Online poker is another way to go. Do not restrict yourself.

You can easily learn the fundamentals fifty times as fast online as you can live. Why would you not want to at least use it as a practice tool?

Trying to acquire good live MTT skills by strictly playing live MTT's will take you a long time and will be very frustrating. Play micro stake MTTs or SnGos online to brush up on your skills. I'm not sure if you realize how few spots in live play you actually encounter in an 8 hour day, but it pales in comparison with the amount of spots you find yourself playing online in an 8 hour day.
