6 players remain. top 3 paid. I'm aiming to win the tourny not just finish in the money. we have 12BB on BB. folds around to button who limps and has 16BB. sb folds.

we decide to shove with QQ with 12BB. button calls with AA. says sorry and thought i would go all in which i have been known to do alot late in mtts.

are we ever checking QQ against this player ever in the future?

What we do in the future depends on what that player is doing in the future.

If you see him limp/call nothing but AA/KK the next 100 times, why would you shove QQ?

If you see him do it with weaker hands, why would you check?

It's not like you wouldn't have shoved/called vs a raise/openshove anyway.

I mean there are a couple of Ft spots with specific stack sizes where my limping range is literally just AA/KK but honestly the amount of sample size you need and the level of disaster it is to let your opponents in for cheap when your read is wrong, you should always shove this regardless of weather you think your opponet is only trapping or not.

Shove QQ and take the pot OR take your lumps when somebody wakes up stronger or sucks out a winner.
