Hi guys, I just checking the preflop range in GTO wizard, I found some calling range like below. So after SB 3bet UTG then UTG 4bet SB, I don't know why SB can call with 44-88, I know 44-88 have like 40% equality face UTG 4 bet range, but is it reasonable? If so, then why SB should fold 60% TT-JJ ? It makes me a little bit confuse.

Also there's some random range I cannot understand like below, when BTN open then facing SB 3bet, why BTN should call most of K6s but fold K7s? If this is pure for balance, why we don't use 50% K6s and 50% K7s?

So I think the questions is if I met some range I cannot understand, how can I know if I should ignore it ?

You are posting about results from whatever "GTO Wizard" claims to be in a beginner's questions forum. You can ignore it.

you mean I should post it on other forum like "No Limit Hold'em Strategy" or you think the GTOWizard preflop solution is not accurate ?

64o claims that GTO is for advanced poker players and not a topic for the Beginners Section.

My spin is if you are truly a beginner, 64o is correct. If you are not a beginner but just starting with GTO..... you might get help in BQ.....but most likely just a bunch of noise.

Another 2+2 area may be of more help... like the area you mentioned.

Thank you, I'll try another area

I agree this isn't a beginner's question. Don't know the answer but it's likely to be fairly nuanced. If UTG never 4-bets a value hand worse than JJ, and his bluffs are mostly all hands like AK/KQ etc. then JJ- are all fairly similar. You should look at UTG's 4-betting range and think about how each of these hands interact with it, like blockers, domination, raw equity, etc. Similarly you should look at SB's 3-betting range. Sometimes it yields an answer to these sorts of questions. Then I'd look at UTG's strategy on J-high boards vs. low boards. It may be that UTG puts less action in on J/T/9-high boards than they do on low boards, or that when JJ does make a set it blocks some of the hands that give it action, like KJ. When 55 flops a set it doesn't block any of the overpairs that will be giving action.

If you were to look at the EV of the small pairs it should be very close to 0. The differences are subtle.
