I am needing to calculate my ROI by myself because I need to do it from 2 different bankrolls. I tried this: https://www.calkoo.com/es/retorno-de-la-inversion-roi But it doesn't seem to work. I played 111 3,5 STTs at PS with -20% ROI. I played 2 \$3 STTs at 888 with 500% ROI When I add investment of 111x3,5(PS) + 6(888). And put my profits of -67.xx it gives me -135. ROI. But PS itself is -20% ROI on HM2. and 888 has positive profits How do I calculate it properly?? thanks a lot

Your investment was \$3.50 111 times and \$3 twice, which is an \$394.50 investment, so as I've run out of room in the back of the *** packet is about -12%

In other words, are the PS 3.5 STTs, 3.25 + 0.25 or are they something like 3.5 + 0.35?

So (for example) if you paid \$400 in buyins, and cashed for \$333, your ROI would be (333-400)/400 = minus 16.75% The big ROI on 888 is barely gonna dent your overall number, because you apparently only played 2 games on that site and they were at a slightly lower buy-in anyway.

You made a 30 profit at 888 with a 6 investment. So your total profit is -47.7 with a total investment of 394.5. ROI =- 47.7/394. 5=-12.1% What sixfour said doing it another way

Yeah, but the profit was huge (relatively), so it can makes a big difference depending on how youi calculate . It's a question of averaging profit vs averaging ROI.

I was playing only 888 and started on PS just because of that problem that was there for like 8 days. I don't trust 888 until they fix it 100% Thanks guys I will use this tonight after session to calculate it in my "eat meat again" challenge. Yesterdays I was so mentaly roast after a big session that I just couldn't figure out how to get the number. Why does the web page does it wrong? I put the 39x.xx investemnt and the -67.xx profits and it shows -135.xx ROI 888 profits are around 20 not 30

If you have played two at that rate, you have made \$30. We can't say why whatever tool you are using is correct or wrong if you don't know yourself, we're assuming you're calculating the individual sites right

To be 90% confident you are a winning player, 100 or so tournaments is adequate if your limited sample ROI is 20% or better; but for a lower initial ROI, say 10%, a sample size of 300 or more is required. If your initial ROI is negative, first get it turned around before worrying about sample size.

I will do it anyway but in the 180's where my ROI is 22% in almost 2k sample

I lost my last years data when my HDD died in march, I use this almost 2k sample from poker pro labs. I can't find the way to see the complete sample from where I started the \$1's 180's by october 2017

Since I started the challenge I played: - 15 SNG \$4.50. I spend on this \$67.5, and winnings are 158.08 (net winnings 90.58) - 52 SNG \$1. I spend on this \$52, and winnings are 39.82 (net winnings -12.18) So winnings: 158.08 + 39.82 = 197.9 So cost: 67.5 + 52 = 119.50 So, winnings divided cost: 119.50 / 197.9 = 1.656 So, my ROI is 165.6 % as it make no "math sense" it probably is 65.6% Aproved??

Re: Calculate ROI manualy

Look at Arty's equation:

(197.9-119.5) / 119.5
78.4 / 119.5
65.6%

ROI means Return on Investment. Your return is your net profit (or loss), and your investment was your buy-ins. Just divide R by I to find out the percentage.
