Well, I know it's technically 2018 still but new year is couple months around the corner. So...
Anyhow, I really do not know where to start. I got myself "Crushing The Microstakes" book by Williams years ago before I quit poker. Now I'm back at it after like 5 year brake and I still have the book but I don't know how outdated it is since it was written like 8 years ago. I am complete n00b though. Playing 2nl micros now. It will probably be a while until I move past 5nl. So I know that what I need now is no fancy GTO strategies and just basic ABC fundamentals to learn. Looking for books that have exactly that, books that are not out of date and are written for complete beginners. I wanna focus on NL cash games for now.
Would appriciate your help guys, cos this poker world is kind of overwhelming for a newbie like me and I do not know where to begin.
Especially since I hear everywhere that a lot of books are outdated and can hurt you by giving bad advice as a result. Either that or they are just too advanced for beginners and too advanced strategies in too simple games can hurt ya as well. All this makes me kind of nervous of what resources to buy.
