Re-signing up with Full Tilt? Re-signing up with Full Tilt?

10-01-2009 , 09:25 PM
Basically despite repeated requests to both rakebackpros.com and fulltilt poker, they adamantly refuse to give me rakeback. This is, of course, bull****. I'd basically like to close out my current account and sign up again, this time WITH rakeback.

Can I do this? Does it count as multi-accounting or anything? Do I just withdraw all my money and sign up with a new name consequence free?

this does count as multi-accounting and they will close your new account. i guess you could open a new account and fill out the personal information with your room mate or something and that would work.

I emailed Full Tilt about this

"On a poker message board somebody posted that they just opened a new full tilt account with a rakeback provider and had there old account closed. Is this an option for me?"

This is their response.

"Please bear in mind that this is not an issue which can be solved by closing your current account and opening a new one. It is against Full Tilt Poker's policy to open more than one account. If you could provide additional information in regard to this matter it would be greatly appreciated."

ya, I'm going to help Full Tilt out in catching some guy, you ****ing pieces of ****. Suck my dick.

I have $8 left to work off in sign up bonus. After that I'm going to cash everything out from Full Tilt. I will not play another dollar on that site without rakeback (or if they offer me more bonus money to work off).

Do not do it, or you can and start writing a "FTP CLOSED MY ACCOUNT" thread preemptively.

This is against their Ts&Cs and will end badly!

If you could, why would there ever be "How do I get FTP to give me rakeback?" threads?

Because people are dumb?

This pretty much sucks then. Is there no known way to close out and existing account to re-sign up? I guess I'll blow my FTP on SNG's and Satellites and then deposit on stars. Way to suck at retaining customers FTP!

Yes, just sign up under a friends name/credit card. You also risk breaking their T&C

Seeing what absolute garbage their support is I doubt they spend their time on message boards (I used to work for a properly run online casino and we did this all the time). On the off chance they do, I thought I'd highlight this for FTP

Remeber reading something about not using your account for 3 or 6 months and they might give you rakeback.

Might***

Most likely one guy got it and the rest of us are s*** out of luck.

Yeah, I really don't get why they make it so difficult for people with affiliate free accounts to get rakeback. I understand not breaking affiliate agreements and letting people switch, but not letting people tag themselves to an affiliate later is just bizarre.

I did not sign up through an affiliate but later found out how important rakeback is. I sent FT an email, they referred me to RakeBackPros.

I received a bunch of replies but they were all "be patient" or "we'll get to you when we can." Never anything more specific despite asking for more details (like "what's the holdup?").

Finally, 57 days after requesting rakeback, they sent me a "no" and then 24 hours later sent me a "yay, you're added and now getting rakeback!!"

Just bizarre.

I don't blame you for not giving them any more of your business.

My gut tells me that if you cease playing, you're more likely to be moved to the top of the list.

And if it helps any, in my completely non-scientific observance of similar threads, most people seem to get accepted to RakeBackPros within 2 months of asking, though it certainly isn't the case 100% of the time.

Good luck.

If you get caught with a second account. what happens? do they just close your accounts and ban you? or do they take your $?

from what it seems like (my source is threads on 2p2), they close your new account and transfer the funds back to the old account.

No, all they do is close your second account and transfer the funds back to your original account.

FWIW, multiple people I know have found ways to do what you're attempting to do, if you'd like I could PM you details.
