Hello guys. I have a question. 6 player table tournament. Big blind is 1000 chips. Antes are 300 chips.
All the players place their antes, the small blind places his small blind of 500 and i, as a big blind only have 300 chips left.
Everyone, including the small blind, folds. What happens in this case?
I double up to 600, 200 chips as a side pot go to the small blind and I collect all the antes?
You would win the antes and 300 from the small blind. Small blind gets 200 of his 500 back, and he gets questioned about collusion. I am not 100% sure that SB CAN fold in this situation.
SB can’t fold in that situation, unless it’s a poorly run live tournament.
A week ago I saw someone fold SB to BB when the BB hadn't even showed up yet. Then a few orbits later they ran A4cc vs T3 on 257ccx Tx 3x and nobody including floor or dealer noticed he had a straight. So I can totally see this happening in live donkaments.
