whats the best way of doing this? I have $10 US each week allocated to poker.
would buying property or starting a business be the best shot at doing it. or actually putting more money into poker. I'm not going to muti table at all online.

Play sats, run like the sun

I know of a few people that have gone from $50 bankrolls (or less) to live tournaments (with buy-ins of $500+) by running well in online satties, but they needed to play about 300 tournaments in 6 months (using some sort of bankroll management, instead of risking everything in one game). If you're in the UK, then Unibet UK Tour and Unibet Open satties are a good option (you can start with $1 satellites and work your way up to the $250 online qualifiers), but you can also consider the GUKPT satties on Stars, and Party Poker has satties for events at Dusk Till Dawn. It's a really long and hard slog to go from $10 to $1000 though, and it's effectively impossible to do it while one-tabling on a casual basis. I have no idea what is available to people in other countries.

Let's say you have a 40% return on your $0,25 buy in, you make 10 cents per game. It takes 1000 games to make $100 and each game lasts like 30 minutes on average? That's 500 hours to make $100. This is assuming you beat those games for 40%....

Do you have a history of beating sit and go's? If not you might want to use online to learn and in the meanwhile just save up money from other sources to play live. Building up a bankroll online one tabling is virtually impossible and also just putting money in it does not make you a better player.

This is going to sound prickish, but the best way to do this is to make more money. Do you have a job? If not, get one. If so can you put more hours in? Real work is going to trump by s factor of 100 the amount of money you can make playing micro stakes one line. If your goal is to make money you should be working not playing micro stakes.
