Best training resources (books/sites) for novices in 2019? Best training resources (books/sites) for novices in 2019?

Played micros on Bovada and 2 sessions of live low stakes for a short stint about 4 years ago.

Learned what I could from a variety of online sources and the occasional books I could find, so I know of some of the most relevant fundamentals.

I want to get back into poker but not sure where to start. I'm treating myself as a complete novice to poker again and want to essentially relearn everything from scratch.

What are the best resources for new poker players to learn everything again from the ground-up?

Are any of the old books still a must-read? Are there better resources that I should explore instead?

I noticed a lot of people talk about Upswing Poker Lab, but it's a tiny bit of a high cost barrier to pull the trigger on right now.

get around players who talk about hands in the format you like playing and listen to their point of view. also give your point of view. you can pay for someone to give their point of view or you can get it from someone else for a fraction of the cost. remember they are trying to make money for their services even if they do give out some free content. its a good marketing strategy. you don't see the same strategy they are using for people who sell bananas or oranges.

look at any of the self improvement gurus, certain christian pastors and poker coaches and they all do the same ****. snake oil salesman and they are good at that.
