I'm just wondering which sites people here recommend for players starting out in 2018 playing 2-25NL.
I'm currently playing on pokerstars but I'm open to changing if anyone has any good recommendations. I'm in the UK if that matters.

I only ask because I haven't played that long and I've mainly stuck to stars.

Ipoker and Betfair because of the 55% rakeback deal on offer. Good software fishy games and the best deal online from what ive seen.

It's almost as if 59k of them are not in poker related forums, heck I've got over 2k in one thread on darts, but whatever, berate someone for clarifying what was obviously an unclear OP given it got questioned

If they're bad, beat them, if they're not, don't play there. Bots are not an inherently bad thing if they're exploitable or just suck

My guess would be no more than any other site. It's not something i worry about.

For starting out, NLH, intertops (or juicystakes) with a rakeback deal. French players likely not accepted and some others also not accepted and not all USA player likely accepted.

Nlh4 is the lowest but it doesn't matter, the micro's level of competition is at best average. PLO8 also runs at that limit and maybe one above, while PLO doesn't run at that level or even at one above it, but is more like PLO20 to 50 if it runs.

Some MTTs run for sure but not worth depositing just for them. Not infested by too many bots or heavy multitabling players, although you will run into those also much of the time (at NLH), but from most part a rather casual site and some players play all of these games.

I have been a player here during many years, that I can't say of any other site, although I am also stuck here with a rather good rb to get my winnings out from the skin that was a part in this network, but considering how well I have been doing for many years, although with many bad periods, but still, and having played at about all sites and networks, this still sticks out as one of the the most casual sites that feels something closer to live games.

There are many other sites that sure look casual at micros, but I didn't feel as comfortable playing there, as there is something still more casual to these smaller sites, as long as they are not too infested by heavy multitabling players, that's something that makes the games less recommendable, more bot like, less like live games.

Vast majority of bots do not suck and are actually pretty good. A bot doesn't need to be amazing to stop you from winning. As long as it doesn't lose at a rate greater than the rake (in terms of bb/100), you cannot beat it.

Even at a table full of -2bb/100 bots, you can't win. -2bb/100 pre-rakeback is actually a decent win rate in today's games. That equates to probably 1 or 2bb/100 post-rakeback.
