I made a thread earlier about being on a downswing but someone told me that I may just be losing player. This has got me thinking I should invest more into my poker education so I would appreciate it if anybody could tell me what the best poker training sites are? Also is there anyway of obtaining free membership for these sites?

I think most sites have free trials where you can test it for some weeks?
I just know Cardrunners, deucescracked and dragthebar but there're tons of sites out there and you should be a bit more specific about what you need education on, some sites have less/worse content for SNG/cash than others I think

are the sites really worth all this money to join up for?

Think deucescracked was free to join, well just the monthly subscription cost obv

Think only cardrunners wanted you to pay 100$ or so to sign up, though I think there was a free trial so try it out

It depends how serious you are at getting better and if your willing to put the work. The sites have a ton of content. At the very least, I would recommend taking a free trial.

The major training sites all have free trials. I suggest taking advantage of these offers and then watching some videos by a variety of pros and find the one's whose style and teaching methods fit best with your learning.

Actually, are there any interactive places you can go to work on things such as pot odds etc.. and not just videos?

I think www.Pokervt.com had some sort of game or quiz where you could work on your poker knowledge, like pot odds etc. I've never actually used it so I don't know what its like.

ive only ever heard great things about Deuces Cracked! they have a very wide variety of coaching staff from micro stakes and affordable to high stakes pros who charge $600+/hour. plus their video content is seemingly endless. I gave been seriously considering taking coaching from their cash game specialist inavaccum...insane hand reader!! good luck

Hi,

I would suggest pokerstrategy. I've tired it and it's great. I manage to build my roll form 0$. They offerred me starting money and lots of stuff to learn. I've learned how to play and now I'm a winning player.

Depends on the stakes you play. At 2NL and 5NL you would probably get better bang for your buck buying a good book or two and spending a few months studying them. Once you hit 10NL and play seriously then the subscriptions become a much smaller % of your monthly poker income so become better value for what you are trying to achieve.

Nice necro. As someone who's seen a lot of training sites, once it's worth using them (i.e. 10NL-25NL), start with Cardrunners then use Run It Once and Ivey League once you get to SSNL.

I have tried deucescracked for a month and ended up downloading everything for NLHE microstakes to small stakes 6-max from 2011 to 2014, that way $29.90 is deff worth it. I downloaded 400 vids this way.

I might try cardrunners but it's so expensive for a low microstakes player like me and as a 18-year-old unemployed student... I don't think I am stuck to books and my downloaded vids until then, since im saving for some coaching lessons.

Well I just signed up to Deuces Cracked for my free 7 day trial. If I go from been a ****ty reg to a crusher I'll let you all know, lol.

Looks like there's a couple of good videos about balancing which I have no idea about right now anyway.

For $75 a month I'd hope that Ivey League site has some good stuff. Seems a bit steep really.
