What one bit of wisdom would you give someone from your time playing poker?

Take regular breaks and stop playing asap if start to tilt or do not want to play

My biggest regret in poker is all the times carrying on playing when I did not want to

The money I lost by playing when not in the right mood is by far the biggest single thing that made me lose money playing poker.

Unless you are a pro grinder and have come very close to mastering the online game, do not multitable. If you are bored playing only one (or two) table, you are doing it wrong because there is ALWAYS something you should be paying attention to so you will improve your play.

1 dont play with money you can't afford to lose.
2. If it is not fun anymore Its time to find a new hobby.
3. When you lose OWN IT. Almost no one wants to own it. There was always a reason WHY it wasn't their fault.

Good advice if you only want to play poker self exclude from casino and sports betting then you are unable to waste time and money on -ev games...

Reason I don't play is I never enjoy playing more one table plo

Felt unless you play at least five tables at once it is not worthwhile as you won't make any money ( small profits 1 table) single table , made me feel like I was behind most others as only recs that single table?

Stop playing 'not to lose'.

Don't just act, understand the reason why you are acting

Keep better records

You can play the same stakes online as you do live if you want to be able to win more money.

Don't stop treating poker like a game you play to have a good time.

Never call an all in river bet without nuts in an unraised, multi player hand when there was no pre flop raise.

Good advice I had the third nuts in plo and on the river villain min bets and I think lol he trying steal so pot and he repots putting me all

I was certain he had the nuts as no one ever bluff there and I called

That was a whole buy in gone which in turn put a good session into a losing session by putting me one tilt

So easy to just get yourself into a crazy place and lose when you should of gone broke there 0% of the time.

Don't play while you mentally fatigue, even you are not bluffing u may call lighter against your villian ranges because u want to bust them so bad (esp deep tourney)

Good one also don't get mad at a player it will end with them having the last laugh.

It's either

1. Don't bet unless you can get call by worse or fold out better.

or

2. Take your hand off the mouse and think through your decision[s].

Not sure if the 2nd one is advice but plenty of people don't do it.

A fish is your customer. Treat them alright, never insult them, and they will keep coming back feed you revenues. Also. Too many regs are looking serious and not socially chatty on live table.

Learn pot odds as you don't want to stack of on a flush draw when opponent puts you all in and the outs don't make the call +ev

Not that hard to learn and will be a great part of your game.
