It's taken me a while to be serviceable for lack of a better word. When I started I played the 45 entrants $1.50 tournaments but that doesn't exist anymore. I was then playing those stupid Spin & Go. What a piece of **** those things are. I started playing 9 person tables and really enjoy them. It doesn't take too long and the competition is at a good level for me. In my last 10 I have 3 firsts, 2 seconds and 1 third. Should I just up the money to $1.50 per game to get better or play a different type of game like the tournaments with more entrants. Thanks!

Something other than NLHE - try literally any other game and you'll find it's more fun with likely easier opposition

What are you trying to learn? It looks like your short term results are pretty good. Can you 'survive' the next 90? A 50% cash rate in a SnG is much higher than expected. Use that to grow your bankroll so you can take a look at moving up in small doses.

If you've found a spot where you are comfortable and your results are positive then stick around! There's nothing wrong with taking a stab at the next level up to see if you fit in there (when your bankroll can take the hit if you fall short).

Poker is a progression and most new Players want to go too fast. Are you just looking for a higher entertainment value/rush or are you looking to make a profit? We don't know enough about your goals to point your 'learning' in a specific direction. GL

As i understand you wanna play 1.5$ buy-in SNG for 45 players? So if you have a decent bankroll for it, you could take a chance. I'd say 60 bi is fine to try. You could play say 30 SNGs and see how you doing. Wright down your results and estimate your ROI. 20-30% is fine. If you will do bad, i doubt that you will lose more than 15 bucks.
