Hi guys,
I would like to know you guys advise on what would be
verry solid bankroll management strategy for "push/fold 5gg NL" cashgames.
How many 5bb buy-ins does one need to be able to handle variance etc?
1000 buy ins ? More?Less?
Keep in mind I am not asking for advise on a "shot taking" bankroll management strategy.
But instead I would like to know what a sound conservative aproach style of bankroll management would look like.
Would be happy to hear all you opinions and there is any one here that is a regularin these games I would be thrilled to get your advise.
Thanks!

I've played a bit of 5bb cashgames. I think it all depends on the level of risk of ruin that you're willing to accept and your ability to move down when losing.
The lower risk you want, the more bankroll you need.
I suggest playing with a variance calculator to see what kind of winrate/standard deviation/risk of ruin you have.

Which site and stake level do you intend to play? On some sites, the rake is so severe that it's basically impossible to beat push/fold games.
Even if the rake is beatable, it's hard to have a huge edge, so the variance will be quite extreme, but at least a "20 buy-in downswing" (which would be fairly common, although not something that happens every session) only amounts to 100bb.

Why would anyone play a game that is literally 100% solved and can be played perfectly by bots?
