Don't call with junk out of position against an early position raiser

I actually played the hand thinking that he limped for some reason, Only realised there that he actually raised. Lol thanks for pointing that out.

On the river, you should have your fingers crossed and pray to god that you get a free showdown. Betting here after the FD bricked is probably worse than just open folding. The only hands you beat, which are busted draws, will fold and you are beat at least 112% of the time he calls.

Honestly, I don’t even see how you can call pot on the turn with a hand that’s basically only a bluffcatcher against somebody who raised UTG and bet the flop 3-way.

Seeing the results I am almost shocked that he “only” has TPTK and not KK+.

I just finished Jonathan Little's 'small stakes poker cash games' and you played this hand like the guy that can't fold top pair. It's paramount that you learn how and when to do that.

Also, KJ off suit out of position gets you into all kinds of trouble. With a pre flop raiser there arent many flops you're going to be happy with.

Personally, I would have folded on the turn.

Here, the villain is repping AA, KK, QQ, 66, 33. AJ is possible, but a loose pot size bet on the turn... but you lose to that too. Additionally, calling the turn leaves you in a very bad position on the river to a bet if/when you are behind. Top Pair Second Kicker should never call three streets of bets. If someone is being aggressive and is betting into you often, pick better spots to push back.

I would say that your range to UTG should also be reasonably capped after the flop to to AJ, KJ, QJ, J10, 33, 66, 99. Anything else should fold on the flop. TT+ should probably raise pre flop with so many callers.

What value hands does villain have that you beat? You bet out on the river, so you thought you were ahead of his value range (if you were bluff catchng, you wait for him to bluff, then call). It does not look to me like you gave any consideration to what the villain has. It seems like you said 'Top pair, good kicker, I must be ahead'
