according to Little and other pros blitz and the like are much tougher then regular poker due to the donks getting chewed up more quickly and as a end result you end up with a player pool full of mostly good regs. So if the games past NL250 are just a bunch of experts trying to eek out .5 BBs against eachother and the games are tougher in general why play is it worth giving up some of your edge just to get more volume in?

That level is way beyond the scope of this forum, but some things to consider are:

a) are regular tables offered on the sites in question
b) if they are offered, do they run
c) if they do run, do they actually have any real weak players that get up to that level in enough volumes that the player pool is notably weaker
d) if there are, is it actually possible to get any better than 64th on the waiting list due to a proliferation of seat scripting wankers

Little's theory makes no sense, the donks may "get chewed up" more quickly in terms of real time, but in terms of hands played they probably last longer on account of a zoom pool not allowing the same player to accumulate specific leak data quickly in comparison to watching on a regular table, that some people may assume that someone is a fish simply because they don't have x,000 hands played against them doesn't immediately tell you why they are potentially a fish. You also play more hands quickly as well, if you and the fish both play 100 hands does it really matter if it takes 90 minutes on a regular table or 20 on zoom?

a reason i think Blitz style poker is tougher is you hardly see the same player twice. How am i supposed to build to exploitative strategy against you if i see you one hand and you flutter on out the door and i never see you again? Which means GTO is likely even more important and GTO isnt the easiest thing in the world

Well, you could start by assuming that people are being nittier on average?

You could argue that zoom forces you to play a more solid default strategy. Instead of relying on the fun player at the table to spew, you have to learn good fundamentals.

Zoom teaches you to be zen about variance. Zoom players put in so much more volume that suck-outs and bad beats stop being interesting.

You could argue that zoom makes you a better player. That might be more +EV in the long run.

If you are able to play long sessions and not lazy to search new tables with weak players averytime - much better to play regular tables as for me.

in general at lower stakes do you find fast folding results in people playing much tighter ranges or causes people to open wider since action is frequently being folded to them.
