Any Play money app that plays real?

Let me preface this with the low down. I’m still a new player and when I get into something I really want to have a very firm grasp on how to proceed before venturing. I’ve read many books starting with the Bible of NLHE(anyway that’s what I hear) which is Sklansky’s Theory of Poker and have subsequently read 5 or 6 other many having to do with math and game theory and some just for fun but anyway here’s my question. Is there anywhere that you can play for fake chips that plays somewhat realistic? I’ve tried WSOP and am tired of getting sucked out on 7% river two outers over and over or everyone just throwing all in and praying. I’m starting to think even attempting these “fake money” games just gives you a bad impression of poker and really can’t teach you much beyond the very basic concepts. Any advice would help, thanks in advance.
