I elected to call instead of going all in since I wanted to limit my loses against potential straights. But in hindsight, not a very good idea.
How do you guys handle these situations? The 6 is not the worst card for me but the opponent was a little steamy after I hero called him a while back.
Knowing his hand this a shove, but what would you guys do if you didn't know his hand? Is it ever correct to call like I did? Is there an argument to be made for calling over shoving?
Looking at my hand history I've done this a couple times before with sets, where I prefer calling over shoving on wet boards or semi-wet boards like this one
This has to be one of the lesser plays I made this week, but how aweful is it?
