I would flat the 3 bet. The issue with 4 betting here is what our plan is facing a 5 bet. No one is going to be 5 betting worse so we probably have to go with it if we get 5 bet.

I thought about flatting the button's 4bet, but then was worried about what if the original opener or the CO 5bets and I'm gonna end up having to just fold and waste the 22 BBs.

He's already facing a 4 bet. He'd be 5 betting AKs. Multiway.

I'm fine with a fold. Your best case here is you're flipping. More likely you're a huge dog already. You can't flat 22bb here, that's literally 22% of your stack. Your choice is shove bad or fold.

Fold all day.

BTN is 6.7 % VPIP over 61 hands and has just 4 bet.

Shoving isn't getting called by worse, and I'm not keen on flatting from the SB with a 1/4 of my stack so I probably wimp out and fold

Don't think sharky read the HH right.

Yeah, discount that. I read the hand as if op was the 4 bettor. I'm just folding to that 4bet. 60 hands is a small sample but they'r some nitty looking stats from btn villain.

Yeah my thinking was shove or fold. My AK was suited so I did consider it for a minute, but folded in the end.

Annoying spot really.

When the BTN cold 4-bets in a full ring game, I think there's a strong case for folding kings in the SB, never mind AKs. When you notice the BTN is playing 6/5 (albeit over a meaningless sample size) this should be a snap-fold. There are still 4 players to act, three of whom have already shown strength.

Would be annoying if 6/5 had flatted the 3bet and then tried to get the money in on a Kxx flop.

The way it played out, his 4bet probably saved you at least 6.7BB.
